
FROSTed Puffed Rice Cereal Treats

Top your easiest puffed rice cereal treat recipe with whipped FROST Buttercream for the perfect dessert!
Ingredients:
-1 container of FROST Buttercream (room temp.)
-1 bag of marshmallows (5 cups)
-5 1/3 cups of puffed rice cereal
-3 TBS of salted butter
Steps:
-Set the container of FROST Buttercream on the counter until room temp.
-Butter a 9 x 13 inch pan and line with parchment paper to create a non-stick surface.
-In a microwave safe bowl, melt the butter (microwave times may vary). Add the marshmallows on top and stir until coated.
-Place the bowl with marshmallows in the microwave and microwave on HIGH for 3.5 minutes (until the marshmallows have puffed up and doubled in size).
-Remove the bowl from the microwave and stir in the puffed cereal until mixed thoroughly. (Do this quickly as the marshmallows will begin to cool and thicken.)
-Spread the mixture evenly into the pan.
-Using a hand or stand mixer, whip the frosting until smooth and creamy (5-10 mins). The closer the frosting is to room temperature, the faster it will whip up. (Initial separation when whipping is normal, just keep whipping until completely smooth.)
-Frost the cooled rice cereal treats and ENJOY!
