What are the benefits of FROST Buttercream?
FROST Buttercream was designed to provide all natural, gourmet bakery-quality frosting to the home baker, saving you time and guaranteeing a bakery-quality treat!
FROST Buttercream is all natural and made with REAL butter and egg whites - leaving NO greasy mouthfeel from hydrogenated / palm / coconut oils.
FROST Buttercream is naturally gluten-free, preservative-free, and dye-free.
My FROST Buttercream arrived at room temperature - is it still good?
Yes! FROST Buttercream can sit at room temperature for a few days. Once you receive it, just pop it in the fridge until you are ready to use.
*Do NOT use if the frosting arrived melted / liquid or if it was in conditions above room temperature (i.e. sitting in the sun for a long period of time).
How do I store FROST Buttercream?
Keep FROST Buttercream in the freezer until use for an indefinite shelf life. For faster defrosting, store FROST Buttercream in fridge for up to 2 months.
How do I defrost FROST Buttercream quickly?
Simply take out of the freezer or fridge when you start to bake. You may leave in the fridge overnight or up to 2 months.
Once out of the fridge, please leave on the counter for 1-2 hours. If directly out of the freezer, please leave on counter for 3 hours. Bring to room temperature.
ONLY microwave for 10 seconds MAX because the butter will melt, and may cause our all natural frosting to separate and deflate.
When is FROST Buttercream done whipping?
When FROST Buttercream is ready, it will look fluffy and smooth. When whipping FROST Buttercream with a mixer, the frosting may first appear more wet & separated before coming together. This is because the butter in the frosting has not yet reached room temperature. It is COMPLETELY NORMAL! Just continue to whip a couple more minutes.
Whip timing: ~10 minutes.
Do I have to whip FROST Buttercream?
FROST Buttercream is best at room temperature once it has been whipped with a hand mixer / stand mixer. If you are without a mixer, do not stir with a hand whisk or fork, as the frosting may deflate. Instead, let FROST Buttercream come to room temperature, spread immediately, and ENJOY!
What can I use FROST Buttercream on?
ANYTHING! FROST Buttercream is the perfect addition to any sweet (or even salty) treat. Try it on cakes, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, blondies, fruit, pretzels, and more!
Do I have to keep my frosted treats in the fridge?
After frosting your treats, we recommend putting them in the fridge to set / firm up before serving.
FROST Buttercream may sit out at room temperature (away from direct sunlight) for a few hours; however, we recommend storing frosted treats in the fridge.
